The National Committee of the Motorcycle Action Group have
unanimously backed the campaign to challenge the Hells Angel's
license to run their annual Bulldog Bash
The campaign launched by MAG Chairman Neil Liversidge,
Streetbiker Editor Ian Mutch and MAG Chief Executive Henry Marks
(known as the Rushdie MCC), was launched in response to the
sustained campaign of violence and intimidation exercised by the
Hells Angels England at MAG events and to the death threats issued
by Hells Angels club member Steve Roach against Liversidge and
Mutch with the claimed support of his club.
The 'Rushdie 3' have made it clear that their objective is to have the death threats withdrawn and a commitment made by the Hells Angels to stay away from MAG events. If those conditions are met the campaign against the Hells Angels licences will be suspended.
The objections to the Hells Angels licenses made thus far have been made in the names of Liversidge, Mutch and Marks, however following a meeting of MAG's National Committee on Saturday August 11, the action now enjoys the backing of MAG's governing body.
Neil Liversidge 'I am very grateful for the support of my colleagues, every MAG member should see this as a demonstration of the outstanding leadership qualities of their own regional rep.'
