Welcome to September! Traditionally the end of the so-called British summer, with the kids back to school and the biking season drawing to a close.

Well not in MAG! We're the group who have recently been described as 'the ones who will still be riding, even when biking is banned'

This edition of Network underlines just why MAG Activists are so determined to ensure biking remains a mainstream and acceptable mode of transport.

From MP letter writing requests reminding our Parliamentarians of their responsibilities to ensure motorcycling is included in the Ten-Year Transport Plan to urging them to support an Early Day Motion on reforming road traffic law we can rightly claim to be the UK's leading riders' rights group.

But it doesn't stop there. The events diary continues to be full of things to see and do, and after a break of nearly 18 months the Activists' Training Weekend returns. This time booked for the 7th and 8th October, at Mallory Park. If you are the intended recipient of this Network then you should be there, otherwise send a deputy!

Why not plough through the Bikers are Voters Action Plan and dream up local awareness stunts? Let's show our local car owning friends how economical our bikes really are, how quiet, how they beat traffic, or just how easily we can find parking spaces.

Let's keep the day when bikes are banned that much further away! And by the way - don't forget last month's anti-congestion charging petition.

See you at Mallory!
