MAG Sport J’s
8.8.05 UPDATE
Visit to Cadwell Park British Superbike Championship - took up the kind offer of free tickets from MAG Sport Member - Alex Gault Racing. Weather was with us, mobile phone signals were against us and we didn't actually get to meet up on the day!
Met up with Pete Widdows – fellow MAG member and Moto KL Team Manager of the Downham Market High School mini moto race team (The Downham Hurricanes) who was marshalling for the weekend - brave man.
Alex Gault - Qualifying Round 2 - sadly mechanical problems forced him to retire on the 3rd lap
29.8.05 UPDATE
17th Fenman Classic Bike Show - the MAG Sport J's stand drew a lot of interest. Had many enquiries about joining the team, and about the Moto KL project. Also met up with a group of Blata owners from Lowestoft who are interested in setting up a race day at Beccles ..... watch this space.
At the end of the show our unique ‘stand’ was also able to give Charlie a Honorary Member of the Fenman Club, who is bike mad but due to the nature of his disabilities has been unable ever to ‘hitch a ride’, his first ever ride on a trike.
2.9.05 UPDATE
Team Meet - Riders are now obviously becoming quite skilled .......... to the point that they informed the Team Manager who was doing a test ride on the bike ........... that she was far too slow and wouldn't make the team - mmmm...... !!!!! Team Manager's defence - lack of sleep.
15.9.05 UPDATE
Rain stopped play...... three budding webmasters set to work updating this site and sending our team news to MAG Sports.

Another potential team member popped in to book a taster session for next week.
7.09.05 UPDATE
Novice rider Alex came for a taster session and he was soon up and running. We managed to extract a comment from Alex - good! Alex is now signed up.
8.9.05 UPDATE
Visit to RAF Marham - Downham Hurricanes and MAG Sport J's and the Moto KL Committee Members were invited to do a demonstration ride at the base. We were delighted to discover that they have an on site purpose built race track.
Our hostsSimon Hardwick and Rob Holmes were most interested in the project and Rob even took one of the bikes for a spin round the track. It is hoped that negotiations will prove fruitful and that the Moto KL teams will have regular use of the track for practice sessions and a monthly race event.
11.9.05 UPDATE
The Old Palace Bike Show, Ely - MAG Sport J's went 'over the border' for some team promotion and took a stand at this new show set in the shadows of Ely Cathedral. The Press and the Mayor and Mayoress were most interested in the team and our stand. Also collected a small donation from a member of the public who had heard about the Farmyard Marshal Flood Appeal.
19.9.05 Forthcoming Meeting – Norfolk Constabulary – Kings Lynn
