With the election announced for 7th June all Prospective Parliamentary Candidates are now known and the MAG Central political database is being continually updated as and when responses are received.

Once again the candidate questionnaire and a covering letter is enclosed - or available via the Network website at: Bikers are Voters Introduction

The Motorcycle Industry Association and BMF, who are both supporting MAG on this have also contacted every MP and PPC with their own versions of MAG's questionnaire.

Many candidates have followed up by requesting additional information and have been put in touch with their nearest MAG group or supplied with copies of StreetBiker.

As outlined in last month's Network, as well as the general election, local elections are taking place on 7 June in England and Northern Ireland so make sure you also get the questionnaires to those local candidates.

Every MAG region and local group should now be at a stage in this campaign where MPs and candidates have been contacted for their views on biking issues, with pressure now being applied to those candidates which have failed to respond.

If you have not yet contacted every politician could you please let us know via Central so we can assist by contacting them with you, and 'fill in the gaps', as necessary.

If those regions and local groups that have contacted candidates, but not informed MAG Central could do so it will enable us to target efforts as necessary and to avoid undue duplication.
