Donna Proctor

Sadly Donna died on Sunday 9th April 2006 when her motorcycle combination wasinvolved in a crash in Cheltenham.

She would have been recognised by a lot of people as the ‘the MAG girl with the yellow Guzzi combo’ even if they didn’t know her name.

She had a wicked sense of humour - didn’t suffer fools and told it how it was - pointers in life for all of us.

Donna was a strong believer in riders’ rights and worked tirelessly and with great enthusiasm and good humour for MAG for many years.

She was a grass roots activist with a powerful evangelical zeal for the cause of MAG - it is a loss not only to her friends but to the biking community as a whole.

She never failed to grasp any opportunity to publish MAG wherever she went and to this end is known by very many clubs and riders out there.

Once you met Donna you were instantly her friend and all those clubs, riders and friends out there will, we are sure, be as sad as those of us closer to her in MAG are today.

The Duk Dik Rally - a major part of her life, will go ahead this year over the Easter weekend.

Donna was a bright light who will be sorely missed everywhere that she was known.

Donna was an only child and our thoughts are with her parents, her partner Paul and all her friends who will be devastated by this tragic news.

Ride free Donna.
