Date: 21.04.06
A motorcyclist was forced into the back seat of a car and beaten up during a road-rage attack.
The 23-year-old man needed hospital treatment after the incident, which police described as a "terrifying ordeal".
It happened at about 1.30pm on Wednesday. The victim was riding a white Yamaha TZR motorcycle in New Parks Way, near Glenfield Hospital, Leicester, when he was involved in a collision with a Gold Renault Clio.
No-one was injured in the accident and only minor damage was caused to both vehicles.
The car driver pulled over at a bus stop.
However, as the victim approached him to exchange insurance details, the man got out and pushed him into the back of the Clio, where he was assaulted by a second man sitting in the passenger seat.
The victim was treated for minor injuries at Leicester Royal Infirmary.
The driver of the Clio is described as black, in his mid to late 20s, about 5ft 10in and of broad build.
He had a goatee beard, a two-inch vertical scar on his left cheek and was wearing a black Nike sweatshirt with the hood pulled up.
The passenger is believed to be of mixed race, with a slim build and about 5ft 7in.
He was wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt with red sleeves and denim jeans.
Police would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the attack.
Pc Nick Shipley, of New Parks police, said: "This was a terrifying ordeal for this man and we're hoping the public may help us find the people responsible.
"We know the Clio was fairly new - a distinctive gold colour - and may have sustained some light, front-end damage in the collision.
"I would urge anyone with any information about the incident, or the identities of the men involved, to get in touch."
Anyone with information should contact Pc Shipley on 0116 222 2222, using identity number 1066.
