IF YOU CARE, BE IN THE SQUARE!
On July 22nd 2000 at 2pm we need 50,000 bikers in Trafalgar Square. Please ensure you make this demo as successful as possible by encouraging every biker you can to attend by copying and distributing the enclosed flyer. Many regions have already organised run-ins, so please contact your regional rep for further details of local activities. A sample press release is included in this edition so please use it to raise the following issues with your local media. Fuel tax, leg protectors, compulsory re-testing, remote control, road tolls, congestion charging, speed cameras, bike theft, secure parking, access to bus lanes. If you want biking to remain as free as it is today, then be there, in the square! Saturday 22nd July 2pm.
