MAG SPORT TRAX TRACK DAY

Just to keep the excitement alive MAG Sport has returned to its roots and is organising a track day at Mallory park on the 22nd August and is the first of several that we anticipate to run.

MAG Sport was formed in the mid nineties in an effort to diversify MAG's recruitment drive giving sports bike riders and other leisure orientated riders a different view of MAG and to give members interested in racing a focus point other than traditional MAG events.

MAG Sport promotes young individual riders and the minority aspects of motorcycle sport through MAG Sport Racing.

MAG Sport Racing consists of a group of individual riders all of whom are MAG members and who will be competing at various championship levels throughout the UK.

The racers for the 2006 season are Alex Gault 15year old from Scotland, Laura Maliphant a 20 year old from Surrey, competing in her first season of racing and Mark Castle racing in the Supermono Championship, North West 200 and Manx Grand Prix.

You can follow their exploits on the MAG Sport website at www.magsport.com

Alex Gault will be attending and joining the track day with his bikes, hopefully Laura and MAG Sport Juniors will be coming along as well, unfortunately Mark will be racing at the MANX Grand prix and we wish him all the best.

Mallory Parks’ photographer will be there and you can order pictures on the day.

Our track day organiser George Shelton hopes to have a few surprises on the day with bike related displays and racing personalities - to be confirmed.

Of course if you’re not a MAG member you will be able to join up on the day.
