ACTIVIST TRAINING – LINEHAM FARM – 29TH – 31ST MARCH 2008

An extra training weekend for MAG Activists has been added for 2008 to the Stratford Upon Avon weekend - Friday 29 February – Sunday 2 March 2008. Please note the Stratford Upon Avon training weekend is now full - 12/ 01/08

The second training weekend will take place at Lineham Farm, Children’s Centre, Swan Lane, Eccup, Nr Leeds on Friday 29th March to Sunday 31st March.

The weekend will have the same structure as Stratford Upon Avon with training sessions on Saturday morning, afternoon and early evening and Sunday morning, with accommodation at the venue.

Training will consist of

  • How MAG works (board, NC, central office and FEMA)
     
  • Campaigns e.g. Bikers are Voters
     
  • How Local Government works
     
  • Theory & Practical - How to prepare yourself to meet a MP, MEP or councillor
     
  • Recruiting members: - Being the face of MAG at events, shows and clubs
     
  • Setting up and running a MAG group
     
  • Events & fundraising
