Obituary

It was with a heavy heart that I had to report that Joey Dunlop "Yer Maun" was killed on Sunday 2nd July in an accident while racing on the 3.7 mile road race circuit in Tallinn, Estonia.

Joey was probably MAG and MAG Sports best-known high profile member and was a fully paid up MAG member for many years.

Words cannot describe the shock and sense of loss here in Northern Ireland, which will also be felt throughout the motorcycling world.

The scenes of over 50,000 people, paying their last respects at the funeral in Ballymoney said more than words can ever express.

A minute's silence was observed as a mark of respect before the London Demonstration and our thoughts in Northern Ireland MAG in particular go out to Joey's family and friends at this time.
