Louisiana Helmet Law To Be Enforced

Authorities will soon begin enforcing an updated law that will require motorcyclists to wear a helmet in Louisiana.

From Sunday 15th August, helmets must meet the Department Of Transportation requirements and have the proper lining, padding, visor and chin strap.

The new law says you must have a helmet on while operating or riding on a motor driven cycle or bicycle. Officials say not only is the new law a good idea but it will save lives.
