Our Northern Ireland region, Annual General Meeting will be held at 2pm on Saturday 17th January 2004, at the Enkalon Sports & Social Club, Antrim. There is plenty of parking
for motorcycles (or cars) and the venue is fully licensed. I will be there with the rest of the MAG NI team reviewing, in the form of a full presentation, MAG-NI successes and disappointments during
2003. I am keen to learn which issues are most important to members to help shape our 2004 campaigns and you will also have the opportunity to elect a new team to spearhead MAG’s efforts in the
province (please contact me if you would like to stand for any of the regional posts). Last year, despite freezing wet weather, around thirty members turned up but it would be fantastic if we could see
more of you in this super new venue in 2004.
It’s now official; a new Mid-Antrim MAG group has been formed and meets on the 2nd Wednesday of the month in the BTPO Social Club, Church Street,
Ballymena (next to Tesco’s). Organised by Barry Barr and Gary Olphert, (who have both been involved in running the very successful Raceview Riders Club), Mid-Antrim MAG looks like a branch that
will be going places. I trust you will give them your support and maybe even become involved in this new venture. Check out http://www.write-to-ride.co.uk for details, or email: MidAntrimMAG@hotmail.com or call Barry on Mobile 07739 016958.
There is also the possibility of a third MAG branch being formed, Mr Philip Dolan
(Londonderry area) would like to hear from any members who would work with him to form a new branch in the North-West of the province. Please contact Phil on 07743374967 or email: philip_dolan1@hotmail.com to help.
