political officer for London are trying to arrange ride-outs for officials from the DfT, TfL and local councils to show them quite how irritating Traffic calming humps can be for
motorcyclists.
Although discomfort levels of different types of hump have been measured by the Department for Transport, the tests for motorcycles were all done with
a solo rider and not a pillion.
