WELCOME TO NEW REPS'

We've got a bunch of new Regional Reps to make welcome.

Ian Churchlow has taken over as Rep for Northern Ireland. Thanks to Karen Jennings for all her hard work.

John Thompson is the new Rep for the Southern Region. Jez Doddington remains as Deputy Rep.

Shan Tedder is the Acting Regional Rep for the East Anglia Region, pending the arrangement of a Regional AGM.

John Mitchell has taken over from Tony Carter in the South Eastern Region.

Andy Wightman has stepped into the breach for the Eastern Region.

WEBSITE OF THE MONTH

A new feature for Network - website of the month!

http://www.cec.org.uk/info/sources.htm

This site has a wealth of information about the European Commission. It has useful links to other information on the Internet such as the UK Office of the European Parliament - which gives details of MEPS, info about the European Commissioners etc.

PUBLIC LIABILITY INSURANCE

Chief Executive Henry Marks has asked Network to point out that our Public Liability Insurance for clubs and groups in the UK is being renewed by the underwriters (Norwich Union), through the brokers Castlemead.

There may or may not be a small increase to premiums. This has not been confirmed at the time of going to press.

Central Office is sending out cover for all who request it at the current prices BUT they will be informing over the phone and by letter that the cover is being made on the assumption that the group/club etc. agrees that should there be an increase post April they will pay the difference.
