Ride To Work Day

Want to take part in a nationwide event which shows the speed of travelling to work by motorcycle, moped or scooter? Then make a window in your diary for this year's 'Ride To Work Day' on Friday, June 14.

'Ride To Work Day' is designed to encourage people to travel to work by motorcycle, moped or scooter and it's organised by The MotorCycle Industry Association (MCI).

The event has been running since 1999 and hundreds of people around the country take part. This year we're holding a competition to find ' The Most Motorcycle Friendly Company/Organisation' in the UK and if you want your employer to join in, just call them for a ‘Competition Pack’

The prize is a motorcycle park and MCI will build it for free. The winner will be the company/organisation that produces the most participating employees on the day.

There's lots of different ways to enjoy the event so the MCI have produced an information pack to give people some ideas. There's also a press pack for the media and scrapbook from last year's event.

If you want any more information on Ride To Work Day then contact Tracey King or Anna Rogers at the MCI on 0870 330 7809
