The Carrying Young Pillion Riders questionnaire is aimed at gathering perceptions on the sensitive
issue of transporting young passengers especially as the exemption from congestion charging is encouraging a more widespread use of motorcycles and scooters.
MAG cannot ignore the possibility of a move to restrict pillion riding.
Already questions have been asked in Parliament relating to minimum age requirements, safety and the existence of plans to improve safety of motorcycle pillion passengers.
No individuals or groups will be identified in the analysis and the questionnaires do not require names or contact details unless respondents wish to divulge this information.
