118 049 Temporarily Unavailable

Mototelecom, the new 24/7 Motorcycle charity directory number (supporting MAG, BMF and Riders For Health) has been temporarily unavailable. This was because the company who operate the 118 service number on Mototelecom’s behalf went into liquidation. This affected not only Mototelecom, but a number of other directory service providers as well.

However, the providers’ service should be available again shortly and with it Mototelecom will be back online.

The high quality Service offers automatic connection to the number required, Number sent via SMS to your mobile, or even to your PC by e-mail. Again all these services are available at low cost in comparison to many other 118 numbers.

‘We have always been keen to give something back to the industry and individual motorcyclists alike. The deregulation of Directory Enquiries has enabled us to launch the Mototelecom 118 service which we hope will directly benefit everyone with an interest in motorcycling’

‘The 118 number compliments our other services which, in addition to providing high quality low cost services offer members discounts, affiliations and monthly prize draws’

“The MAG Foundation is proud to have sponsor Mototelecom on board to assist in the increasing commitment to the promotion of road safety within the motorcycling community.

The commitment means that the Foundation will be able to undertake effective research and initiatives on motorcycle and scooter use pertaining to safety, security and education” Trevor Baird MAG UK
