Date: 3rd April 2004

Time: 11am till 5pm

Venue: The Gala Theatre, Millennium Place, Durham

Directions: By road: Leave the A1(M) at junction 62 and follow the A690 to Durham. Follow signs to 'Prince Bishops' car park. The Gala Theatre is just past this, next to the Market Place.

By train: Durham is on the East Coast mainline, two stops south of Newcastle.

By air: The nearest major airport is Newcastle. (If you are going to parachute in please let us know so that we can all watch).

Evening Entertainment: At St Aidan's College, Durham. Disco and live band Mischief 7pm-11: 30pm

Accommodation: Being a tourist town Durham has a variety of accommodation, varying in style and price, contact details for hotels/B&B etc can be provided. (Please note that any details given are not to be treated as recommendations).

St Aidan's college (party venue) is about 15 mins walk from the Gala Theatre and offers out of term 'student' accommodation comprising of single and twin rooms, some en-suite, from £19 per night including breakfast. To book and for further details contact the college direct on (0191) 33 45769. They do have a limited number of disabled access rooms also.

Camping is available at Arbour House caravan park about 4 miles outside town.

A shuttle bus service will operate on Saturday between the campsite and the Party venue, with a nominal charge.

Please note that this is a commercially run campsite; please book direct with them, also please respect that there may be other
campers present.

Parking: Car parking in Durham can be fun at the best of times, for a map of car parks ask for an info pack.

There is some bike parking available (again send for an info pack), however it has been agreed that we can hold a 'bike show' in the Gala Square outside the Theatre, anybody who wishes to enter their bike, whatever its condition, is welcome to and thereby get free
'parking' for the duration of the meeting. Please note that these bikes will not be judged and that there are no prizes.

Anybody in a car be aware that if you enter the Market Place there is a £2 congestion charge on this road, however bikes are exempt.
