MAG ANNUAL GROUP CONFERENCE Saturday 13th April 2002
I hope that as many of you as possible will attend the forthcoming AGC in Weston Super Mare. MAG Western Region will be putting on a thoroughly enjoyable weekend event at the Winter Gardens
with a brill band and all the usual entertainment to enable you to wind down in comfort. We've made the move to a spring AGC to get away from the 'events crush' that has come about in September and hopefully the
better weather in April will encourage more members to make the effort to attend. We are starting later this year at 1pm and going straight through to 6pm without an interval. That increases the debating time by a
half-hour and also allows you an extra two hours to get there in the morning.
2002 will also see a special item. With House of Lords reform on the agenda we want bikers to be able to have their say. We are
therefore inviting a number of Lords to the meeting to tell us how they think the upper chamber should be organised. This is sure to be a lively debate so don't miss your chance to have your say, ask questions and
tell them what you think.
All the best for Christmas and New Year, Neil Neil F. Liversidge National Chairman
PS - don't forget to make your £50 per branch fare pool contribution. The fare pool
is designed to make AGC attendance affordable for every local group.
