You may be aware of the MOT sticker initiative to remind drivers that their MOT is due.
The initiative will see MOT tester put stickers inside a car on the windscreen
telling them when their next test is due.
MAG asked the question where riders were going to stick their sticker.
The “nice” Transport Minister John Spellar replied and I suspect
he just might have a sense of humour.
"Thanks you for your e-mail of 18 March about the new MOT reminder stickers.
You ask whether or not they will be issued to motorcyclists and I am
pleased to tell you that they most certainly will.
No one is compelled to use or display these stickers.
They are offered free of charge at the end of the MOT test for all vehicle owners to
use as they think most useful. Most car drivers will stick them in their windscreens (as we are encouraging them to do); others (including motorcyclists who, as you say, do not have that option) may wish
to stick them on their garage door, in their diaries, or wherever it would best serve them as a reminder."
So the question remains the same, where are going to stick yours?
