IN APPRECIATION OF MARSHALS – Gary Barnes, MAG Events Co-ordinator
I would like to thank all MAG members who have given up their time this year to help marshal at MAG events. Your contribution is vital when it comes to organising a rally, party or
bike show, and without your input these events, big or small, would be impossible to run.
I would like to say, however, a particularly big thank you to all those that marshalled at Donington for the British Grand Prix weekend.
For those that don't know yet the MAG marshals on our site apprehended and held four suspected thieves until the security and police arrived. All four were arrested and charged.
It is alleged that these four are part of a gang that have plagued Donington events for the last four years but nobody has been able to catch them before.
As soon as I can confirm what is happening to these scum I'll let everyone know and we'll issue a press release.
The inspector that came to see me was very pleased to have them in custody and was grateful to the marshals for their diligence and professionalism.
