Picture What we all want is lower insurance bills, cheaper accessories, clothing and spares, access to the best events and better opportunities to get more out of our bikes. Issues that MAG has been addressing for many years, and will continue to address on behalf of riders!

Talk to other riders about the things they get out biking, the things we all want more of, and you'll find a lot of common ground… Biking is about enjoying the good times and excitement, but also about avoiding the expense and misery from crashing or losing your licence. Bikes can get you from A to B (or even from A and back again, just for the hell of it) quicker and you'll arrive with a bigger grin on your face than if you took the car, but we all know the down-side… crashed and stolen bikes mean ever-rising insurance and repair costs. Getting knocked-off by someonePicture not paying attention, or having your bike knocked-off by thieves, means time spent trying to sort the mess out, time you could have spent riding instead - so why not get The Edge over the people who can seriously damage your biking fun?

Backed by some of the biggest names in motorcycling, 'The Edge' is a non-profit making programme established and managed by the Rider Development Research Foundation (RDRF) and supported by the Motorcycle Industry Association.

''The Edge' is expected to begin to take over from Bikesafe as the leading additional training scheme available today and many police forces have already signed up for it.

Watch this space for a forthcoming Edge assessment article..
